Victor Sanders

…has been called “A master of mystery guitar.” His electric guitar and well-equipped pedalboard create sounds hard to believe are coming from a six-string guitar.
His playing strives to combine playful imagination
with atmospheric textures, and a well-honed technique.

Victor was a founding member of the legendary
Electro-Folk-Experimental ensemble, "Care of the Cow,"
sharing stages with Tom Waits, John Fahey, Tom Rush and many more.
As a composer, he worked with Body Parts, an ensemble he created
to work with the many talented choreographers and dancers
in the Chicago Modern Dance scene. He has been a member of the bands
Straightface, Night on Earth and The Hannah Frank Group.
Victor loves collaboration, and has done many projects with both visual artists and poets, among them, Marc Smith, founder of the poetry slam movement, Emily Calvo, poet Ginny Sykes. Connie Noyes, and Susan Aurinko,

Currently, Victor is known for his work accompanying singer/songwriters, playing with contemporary artists such as Susan Abelson, Rachel Drew, Naomi Ashley, Heidi Serwer, Al Day, Ava Brennan, Christina Trulio,
And guest artist with The Gunnelpumpers, The Neo-Psychedelic group, Whitewolfsonicprincess, and the eclectic Susan & Sons.

When not playing music, he can be found recording and producing other artists at his recording studio, Lakeside Media.

Ultra-Violet Archer

Ultra-Violet Archer is a singer, songwriter, and soundscapeist from Chicago. She’s inspired by natural and urban soundscapes, her Celtic and Appalachian roots, and by exploring music as individual and community health care. 

Stevenson Valentor

(Mehtab Kirtan) is a drummer and composer also active in the healing arts scene.  Versatility and passion are essential to his musical identity.  Whether improvising, composing; conversing, or collaborating, his mission is to make the world a better place with exquisite sounds and fascinating music.

Mark Feldman – Violinist

Mark Feldman is an internationally recognized violinist whose work spans jazz, improvisation, and contemporary music. He spent eleven years with the John Abercrombie Quartet, recording five ECM albums and touring worldwide, and later spent three years with the Billy Hart Quartet, contributing to two recordings and international tours.

Over more than twenty-five years, he has been a frequent collaborator with John Zorn, appearing on many of Zorn’s recordings and projects. Feldman has also performed with Pharoah Sanders at the Salzburg Jazz Festival and appeared at Jazz at Lincoln Center in duo with Paul Bley and in trio with Muhal Richard Abrams.

He received a Grammy Certificate for his performance on Michael Brecker’s Wide Angles (Verve), and has led string sections on recordings by Chris Potter, Joe Lovano, and Lee Konitz.

As a leader, Feldman has released What Exit (ECM) with John Taylor, Anders Jormin, and Tom Rainey, and the solo album Sounding Point on Intakt Records.

Michael Berns – Photographer

Michael Berns is a Chicago-based photographer whose work reflects a lifelong engagement with architecture, place, and visual narrative. He studied architecture at the University of Nebraska and went on to earn a Master of Architecture, with a minor in photography, from Cornell University. He later continued advanced studies in color photography at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.

Michael has taught photography at Cornell University—where he served as a teaching assistant in both introductory and large-format courses—and at Dallas County Community College.

His photographs have been featured in group exhibitions across the country, including shows at the Washington Center for Photography, the Corcoran School of Art, Northern Virginia’s juried exhibitions, the Heartland Café in Chicago, and several venues in Evanston such as the Evanston Public Library and Creative Coworking.

Michael shares the belief, echoed by James Agee, that the photographer’s craft lies in knowing “where luck is most likely to lie in the stream” and meeting it with honesty and attentiveness.
